Dubai Fitness Challenge

Eyeing to be fit but don’t know how to start? Your motivation is here and there is nothing better than the Dubai 30x30. From October 29 – November 27, a month-long festival of fitness will be celebrated in Dubai! Now in its 6th year, Dubai Fitness Challenge, or Dubai 30x30 has one goal for everyone, move and sweat it out.

What is Dubai 30x30?

Do any kind of exercise for 30 minutes each day for 30 days. The aim is to inspire everyone to move and have a more active lifestyle. You don’t need to enroll in a class, you can do it wherever and whenever you want, just do an exercise whether yoga, running or cycling, Dubai becomes your gym.

Who started Dubai 30x30?

This challenge was started by the Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. A known fitness lover, Fazza wanted to transform Dubai into an active city. His goal is to make every city resident fit and healthy, a very heartwarming vision. This call was supported by royalties such as his brother, HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, who also took part in the challenge.

Where can you do the challenge?

As mentioned before, Dubai 30x3 doesn’t need you to enroll in any private gyms or studios. You can do it wherever you want. The good thing here in Dubai is there are a lot of places and parks to do fitness activities. There are tons of running paths all over Dubai such as the one in Jumeirah Beach with stunning views of the Arabian Sea or the one in Al Ittihad park in Palm Jumeirah. Certain Dubai parks also have calisthenics areas like the one in JLT.

But if you enjoy privacy and have extra cash, There’s a wide range of fitness studios and gyms all over Dubai. Fitness First, Warehouse Gym, Snap Fitness, really there is too many to mention.

Dubai Run 2022

The highlight of Dubai 30x30 is the Dubai Run, the city’s largest and grandest running event. This is your chance to run with your family and friends along Dubai’s iconic streets. This year, the event will happen on November 20 on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Choose from two courses, 5 KM and 10KM.  The 5KM event will run on a flat road from Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera to Burj Khalifa, and is perfect for casual runners and children. The 10KM will start on Sheik Zayed Road to Dubai Canal, will pass Business Bay and Emaar Square, and will end on Al Mustaqbal route. If you’re into running then this will suit you better. This is free as part of the Dubai 30x30 and everyone is encouraged to join to take part.

Dubai 30x30 also encourages everyone to share their activities online in hopes of spreading the call to being fit and healthy to anyone in the world. The goal is to be healthy and fit so be sure to join this movement and live a better life.
